His Hustle Is So Russell

For my very 1st Official Post on my blog, I decided to highlight an individual that I've come upon recently on twitter that has inspired me to keep striving towards my dreams of getting in the music industry. His name is Charles McCree. Charles McCree is a man that proclaims to be the next Russell Simmons. For those, that really know me, I always mention how Russell Simmons, co-founder of Def Jam Records & business mogul is my idol and how I would love to be like him one day. Now, when I came upon Charles and found out he wanted to be the next Russell Simmons like me, I had to investigate more into who he was and what he does. What I found was a youtube video (posted above) and a very inspiring, community program called "Project Walk a Mile in My Shoes". The video, "On the Road 2 Next" is a short testimony of who Charles McCree is through various people he has interacted with, such as V103 in Atlanta's Frank Ski of the "Frank & Wanda Morning Show". Project Walk a Mile in My Shoes is a program that raises shoes for the homeless & inner city youth in Atlanta Ga. After viewing both the video and learning about his project (which has been posted on Diddy's Blog and tweeted by Stephen Hill of BET), I realized Charles McCree really can and will be the next Russell Simmons. His determination and hard work has gained him access into the music industry and even the position of Head of Marketing for BuVision/DefJam Records. Charles McCree has become an inspiration to me and made the flame of determination & drive to achieve my dreams burn even more!

Thank You Charles & I'll see you at the TOP!!

Welcome To My World

WELCOME!!

Hello,
My name is Joshua Wilborn or "Smilez" as many know me by. This is my first blog!! For a very long time, ever since I first read my friend Tammy's Blog I've wanted to create my own blog but because of not knowing what I wanted to do and my own laziness, I never got around to doing it. However!! Now that I'm in my 2nd month of being in my Master's Program for Full Sail University in Entertainment Business, it has become mandatory to create a blog. I've decided this blog will cover my love for music through various posts about topics I want to speak on. It will also include various posts about my own personal thoughts & travels as I've just recently moved from Ohio to Dallas, TX. Hence the title of the blogsite Muzikal Therapy!! I will add more information about me & get some posts very soon but until then follow me twitter!! @DJSmilezMuzik
